The current base is 1.52m around the accommodation lodges so Temple and Cassidy tows are sensational. Skiing to the road is also an option as long as you keep off the walking track.

Downhill Tow

 With a base of 2.73m, getting Downhill Tow open is going to be a mission. Manager Todd reckons it will be running by Friday night but I have my money on Sunday. We'll see who's right?

Largest Base of Snow in New Zealand

 
 
Opening one of the lodge doors yesterday morning revealed part of the average 230cm base of snow we have over the entire field. The school holiday weeks are going to be a blast.
